Welcome to De Essence! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through our website (the “Site”), and any purchases made through the Site. By using our Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site.

1. Eligibility
By using this Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms. Our products are available only for online and home-based businesses purchasing for resale purposes.

2. Wholesale Purchases
De Essence sells fragrance products at wholesale prices to eligible businesses. By placing an order, you confirm that you are purchasing items for resale. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice, and all prices are in U.S. Dollars.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 24 hours of being placed. Orders placed on weekends or holidays may be processed on the next business day.
  • Shipping Rate Notice: Due to the wholesale nature of our business, shipping rates will be calculated after the order is processed. These rates will be invoiced separately and must be paid prior to final shipment.
  • Payment Terms: We accept major credit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Process: Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS to the U.S. freight forwarder address specified during checkout. Typical delivery to the U.S. freight forwarder occurs within 3 to 7 business days.
  • International Shipping Responsibility: Once orders are delivered to the freight forwarder, De Essence is not responsible for any further transit, delays, damages, or issues occurring during international shipping. Customers are responsible for coordinating with their freight forwarder for final delivery to their home country.
  • Tracking: Customers will receive a tracking number to monitor the delivery to their freight forwarder.

5. Returns and Refunds
Due to the wholesale nature of our business, De Essence only accepts returns for items damaged during transit from our fulfillment center to the U.S. freight forwarder.

  • Return Process: If your order arrives damaged at the freight forwarder, please contact our customer service within 10 business days of delivery. You will need to provide your order number and photos of the damage.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and verify returned items. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

6. Product Descriptions
We strive to provide accurate descriptions of all products; however, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are complete, reliable, or error-free. Product packaging and materials may vary slightly from the images displayed.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of De Essence or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this Site without prior written permission from De Essence.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, De Essence and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any products purchased. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) in question.
